The principals at Seldon have over a decade of experience purchasing and managing aviation assets in cyclical, illiquid markets. Since 2016, we have executed over $300 million in direct investments in commercial aviation, representing over $1 billion in original equipment cost.

Seldon transacts directly with many of the major airlines and MROs of the world and its principals are well known within the commercial aircraft marketplace.

Seldon also actively manages commercial aircraft and engine investments on behalf of third party institutional investors. The Company has internal resources to evaluate equipment and market risk and is currently seeking to grow its portfolio of owned and managed assets.

Our major strength is prudent management, risk mitigation, and remarketing of aircraft assets. We have particular expertise in assets that are impaired due to the credit of an underlying lessee, a difficult jurisdiction, or an out-of-favor aircraft type/variant. 

Seldon also acts as advisor to long-term institutional capital on asset-backed financings of newly manufactured aircraft.
